What age do you think is too old to learn musical instruments?

My friend in his thirties suddenly have an urge to learn a musical instrument. I'm thinking he is too old for it, but I dun wanna discourage him. Anyone thinks he has a good chance to master it? Or at least learn to play decently?

    Hi,

    There is no age limit to learn a musical instruments. I started learning piano when I was 30+ year old. Now I am able to play by ear and play in church. Nowsaday, it is even simpler to learn as you can find many useful learning stuff for piano through you tube. It's never too late !
