what are HR department doing!!!!!??? keep waiting

i've applied for about 150 jobs, and i only have 10+ chance to go interview. Even I email them my resume, I fax them, I call them for a chance to interview, and keep email to the same company, they still not going to have an interview with me!!!

I have matched the requirement the company mentioned, but how come I still cannot receive their reply, even though I only hope them to send me a return mail, they still not willing to send it to me, how would I know whether my resume has reached them or not!?

Why Singapore's company HR department so different with other country? I keep waiting full with hope, wait for them for 2 weeks, then no news, no even a return mail!

I know there are many job seekers, HR has to read all of them , it is a tough job, but, at least, you can press a reply button, and say that you have received, this is what I want. I'm very disappointed that many of the company won't inform u, they just let us to wait, let us to waste the time.Please inform us, HR!

    no point complaining...even if you are singaporean, HR still won't acknowledge you. Keep bombarding them with your resume...we are at their mercy!!

    hmm... from your post I assume you're a foreigner? Well, in Singapore, they will only reply you if you are chosen for interview. Irritating I know, but what can we do? =/

    Companies also have a quota on the number of foreigners they can employ in their company. Maybe you want to check http://www.mom.gov.sg/publish/momportal/en/home.html to find out about the procedures of working in Singapore.

    But now recession, so many companies are having headcount freeze, so.....
